A relative paid a visit to my house some while ago, and saw this design on the wall. He asked me for the pattern to give to his wife. Oh dear, I just then realised that I have never published it before!
So here it is. I started making this design at the end of 2013 and finished it sometime in early 2014. It was originally using black floss on white aida like this:
As you can see it, I changed the floss. Instead of using DMC 310, I use cotton variation. You can do that easily, this pattern only using 1 color. The general detail of the pattern is shown below:

Alhamdulillah a very talented woman, Ayesha, gave me the permission to use her works of Islamic calligraphy. This free cross stitch pattern is based on one of her works, which you can find some of them on her Facebook page, and or on her Instagram album. Alhamdulillah I can share another free pattern for your cross stitch project. This is a calligraphy of QS 55 ayah 26-27, you can see the translation and tafseer of it in your language here and the details of this pattern are shown below:

Threads used on this pattern are DMC art 117 (cotton), but of course you can modify it to your liking. On 18ct aida fabric, the calligraphy part will need about 5 skeins, and the border parts will need 1 skein for each color (there are two color, makes this pattern use 3 different colors total)

In less than a week moslem all over the world will celebrate Eid al Fitr. Eid Mubarak to you all.
I share this pattern to all of you; I do hope this gift will be useful reminder (and beautiful too) in our home, in class room, in community gathering place... we should guard ourself from saying useless meaningless and or false + hurtful things to other. This gift, was initially designed for my niece... a teenager who just learned stitching.. and also a first time voter in Indonesia election. Today it's official we have new president; and the whole presidential race campaign was a nightmare for me; I truly hope my niece will always remember what's written on this banner.
Again, Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri, Eid Mubarak!! From home to home, and heart to heart, from one place to another; may the joy of Eid bring us closer to each other, forgive each other mistake, may our prays be answered. !!Eid Mubarak!! Here I share a pattern, made some while ago. I made this piece of light aquamarine aida, 18ct, but sure you can stitch it on other fabric count and color.
Finished size on 18ct aida is about 13x19 cm (more exact size you can find on the pattern), and if you use fabric calculator on the right side of this post, you will get about 18 x 25 cm (about 7" x 10") if you use 14ct fabric. Using the calculator, you can get the size of different ct fabric; just try it. Play around with it. However, please dont forget to add 4-6" on the number, as you will need extra area for framing purpose.

I dont have many words left to tell you about what happened there in Palestine, as the whole world already witnessed Israeli army's atrocities against Palestinians. We mourn and we do anything within our power to stop that.
I make this pattern, hoping you can use it to help the Palestinians, be it Moslem, Christians or else. You can sticth this pattern and sell it for raising fund to help providing medicine & food supply, or simply hang it on your wall, or comunity wall; Raise people awareness: Governments all over the world had been talking for more tahn 20 years yet none made Israel recognise the rights of Palestinians. We, civilians must stand up against this atrocity.

I made this pattern in December last year but haven't had a chance to share it due to mum's deteriorating health, and after 11 years fighting against breast cancer and cervical cancer, Mum passed away on 27th of February 2014. This pattern is very special to me, not only this one is the last pattern mum saw I stitched when we chatted in those months, but also because this pattern is calligraphy of the very man, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, who taught humankind to put the utmost love, respect and sincere care for woman; especially mother.
I hope by sharing this, it will bring us manfaat in many good ways.

Long time not updating this blog, I made several designs already but not yet satisfied with the detail yet. Other things also occupied me offline, and when im online I mainly playing with FaceBook.
However, yesterday I heard that the military backed-up As-Sisi claimed that he has solid and massive support to run for presidency. Oh Dear. If that happen, let us not forget... R4BIA.
Here it is, my newest design called "R4BIA" ... I made it to be stitched on 18ct plastic canvas size 11.5 cm square. You can make it as small cushion for decoration of your car, when you go around people will see ... we never forget.
